Tiffany Diaz De Leon
Chairperson
Tiffany has been a resident of Kitsap County since 2008. She came to the Libertarian Party after finding that the Democrat Party was not about promoting freedom but actually was hampering the freedom of those that did not agree with them.
“As a self-proclaimed Liberty Lover, I believe our lives are best when we get to make our own decisions without government and politicians telling us who we can love, how we can best protect our home and families, and how we should spend our income. “
Gary Welch
Vice Chairperson/Membership Chair

Gary is a retired military veteran who has lived in Kitsap County since 1989. He also works in Kitsap County and is involved with local business and community organizations. Gary became a Libertarian after becoming disillusioned with the Republican Party’s hypocrisy of talking about smaller government but continually growing government at all levels.
“My two heroes are Thomas Jefferson and Martin Luther King. Both were champions of equality and men of vision. Jefferson understood the role of government and its impediment to individual liberty and happiness. King understood that we could not grow as a society until we truly accepted that “All men were created equal”.
Krysty Chennaux
Treasurer
Krysty is a new resident of Kitsap county, here with her husband, who is stationed on the U.S.S. Nimitz. She works locally in Port Orchard and volunteers regularly with Habitat for Humanity and the Boys & Girls Club in Bremerton. Krysty became a Libertarian when she realized that neither the Republican or the Democratic Party had enough to offer her based on her desires for a better future.
“I have recently come to understand that we cannot just sit back and let others take the steering wheel for our lives. The United States is a beautiful place with amazing potential if we allow people to exercise the freedoms that we used to take advantage of. I want people to know that they don’t have to ask permission to live their lives.”
